Thank you for your interest! Submissions for the 2025 NHBF will open November 1, 2024.

The New Hampshire Book Festival features a roster of traditionally published authors in the following categories:

  • Adult: Fiction, Nonfiction, Biography, Memoir, Poetry, Graphic Novels and Memoirs

  • Children: Picture Books, Middle Grade and Young Adult (fiction and nonfiction), Graphic Novels and Memoirs

(We do not feature cookbooks, self-help, or political narratives at this time.)

Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in the New Hampshire Book Festival!

Please submit or have your publicist submit all of the following listed below. (Your submission will not be considered complete until we have received all required materials.)

1. Completed online Submission Application Form (see blue button at bottom of page).

2. Press kit (author bio, reviews, clippings) along with a brief cover letter noting your interest and any other information that will help us evaluate the submission to nhbookfest@gmail.com.

3. Two (2) copies of a galley/ARC/finished book mailed to the address below.

Please note:

  • The 2025 New Hampshire Book Festival features books published in 2025. Due to the limited roster of authors for this event, NHBF does not consider submissions from self-published or author-financed published books.

  • We accept submissions for the festival on a rolling basis, so please apply as soon as you’re able after submissions open on November 1, 2024.

  • Please make sure to include all materials. Your submission will not be considered complete until we have received all required materials.

  • We will endeavor to notify applicants about their submission no later than August, 2024.

  • Submitted materials cannot be returned.

  • All authors who are invited to participate will be featured in a panel or conversation session with other authors. The festival will not feature authors for book signings only or for solo presentations/readings.

  • Travel assistance will be provided to all participants.
